No, FireBot is completely self-contained and battery operated.
FireBot comes from our assembly plant here in the US already operating and monitoring.
Regular cleaning of the surfaces of the device to remove grease build up is recommended. No one likes a dirty house!
Up to 10 years, at which point the suppressant and battery need to be changed, which can be performed by anyone. Contact us for a 10-year service pack to keep your FireBot in peak condition.
It is an organic biodegradable, non-toxic liquid similar consistency to soapy water. Depending on skin sensitivity, we recommend washing your hands with water and soap after coming in contact with it to avoid any skin irritation.
- Do you have drywall behind your stove? If yes our drywall mount is your least expensive option.
- Do you have a microwave above your stovetop? If yes you are able to use our universal microwave bracket.
- Do you have a flat smooth back splash? If yes you can use our 3M peel and stick mount.
If you answered yes to any of these questions we have a mounting solution.
If you answered no to all of the 3 questions above please contact us directly and we can look into creating a mounting solution for your needs.
If your microwave has screws on the left and right edges of its underside, then yes.

The product has been tested and certified to 17-36” (building code). This measurement is from the top of the stovetop to the bottom of the microwave or rangehood.
FireBot is currently UL300A tested for a 4-burner stove. We will have alternate options available soon.
Yes, typically it activates before your sprinkler system.
Currently, Firebot does not turn off your gas stove but this is a functionality we plan on launching soon.
